Bihar Lok Manch is going to celebrate 32nd Durga Puja this year with great enthusiasm and grandeur. The extent and level of celebration has achieved a level of maturity of which we all are proud of. The stage has been acquired with tireless effort and unstinted and support of all concerned. But my saying so should not take our esteemed life members and well wishes to complacency.We have to realize without delay that still we have miles to go and have only covered a small fraction of our objectives so far.

While rejoicing in festivities, our memories are fresh of the flood havoc brought this year by the River Kosi. The dameges inflicted have left indentation on our psyche to be erased not so easily in near future. Most of us are actively engaged in wiping out all possible tears to the extent possible.The need of the hour is to enter into an agreement with the Government of Nepal to construct Kosi high Dam to have lasting solution to this problem. I am happy to inform that some of us are engaged in this effort.

I feel this endevour would remain incomplete without a special and specific mention Manch not having it's own permanent office, it is needless to emphasize that the lack of fund has remained one of the most important constraint. I invite you all to take up this challenge and solicit your wholehearted cooperation and support to purchase/construct it's own land/build in. Till the manch is shifted in it's own permanent oiffice, many of the constructive programmes lingering in our minds cannot be accomplished to our satisfaction. I request for united and concerted actions.

Let Goddess Durga bestow on us the required strength and resilience to remain united to accomplish all objectives and future challenges.
